In 2015, on the basis of the original Graduate School, China Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP) established the Graduate School of China Academy of Engineering Physics (GSCAEP) in Beijing and gave the mission to CAEP's graduate education a new goal: to build a distinctive and first-class graduate school through the cooperation of science and education. To fulfill this new mission, the Graduate School clarified its new positioning: 1) to implement a tailored and national objective-driven graduate education with distinct characteristics; 2) to carry out open and basic research targeting strategic needs and the forefront of science; 3) to promote the enhancement of CAEP's basic research team through science-education cooperation.
