On June 20, 2023, the Graduate School of the China Academy of Engineering Physics (GSCAEP) held the 2023 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony in Mianyang Science City. 233 graduates bid farewell to their campus and embarked on a new journey in life. Zeyao Mo, Vice President of GSCAEP, along with leaders from the Human Resources Department and the Graduate School, graduates and their families, representatives of graduate student advisors, training units, and relevant departments of the Graduate School, attended the event. The ceremony was hosted by Jialiang Ni, Secretary of the Graduate School Party Committee and Executive Vice President.

Zeyao Mo, on behalf of the Party Committee and the administration, first congratulated the graduates of the Class of 2023 and expressed gratitude to the units, advisors, faculty and staff, as well as the families of the students, for their efforts and contributions to graduate education. Zeyao Mo delivered heartfelt wishes to the students, urging them to stay steadfast, uphold their ideals, and strive continuously in their future work and life. He encouraged them to cultivate tolerance, love life, and adhere to the "six principles" that would make the core values of "building the cornerstone of national defense and being the backbone of the nation" an indelible imprint in their lives. Zeyao Mo extended his best wishes to all graduates, hoping they would have promising futures and cherish their memories as they look back on their journey.

Libin Fu, Party Committee member and Vice President of the Graduate School, delivered a speech during the ceremony, sharing his personal insights on life and work. Libin Fu encouraged all graduates to inherit and promote the "Two Bombs, One Satellite" spirit. He emphasized the importance of a practical and realistic work style, the determination to develop real skills, and the perseverance to endure hardship and hone their abilities over a decade. He urged the graduates to stay grounded, work diligently, and strive for excellence.

Jialiang Ni, Party Committee Secretary and Executive Vice President of the Graduate School, read the "Degree Awarding Decision" and announced the list of recipients of degrees.

Academician Changpu Sun, Chairman of the Degree Evaluation Committee, presented the doctoral and master's students in attendance with graduation caps and awarded them their degree certificates.

Guiyan Liang, Party Committee member and Vice President of the Graduate School, read out the "Decision to Commend the Outstanding Students Scholarship of the GSCAEP and the 'Outstanding Graduate Student Advisors' of GSCAEP for 2023" and the "Decision to Commend the Outstanding Graduates of GSCAEP for the Class of 2023." Kaiding Wei, Minister of the Human Resources Department, presented certificates of honor to representatives of outstanding scholarship recipients, outstanding graduates, and outstanding teachers.

Hongfei Chen, an outstanding graduate, emotionally recalled the little moments of studying and living at CAS, carrying a grateful heart and a sense of patriotism and pride. With a determined spirit, he was ready to shoulder the heavy responsibilities of the career.

Outstanding advisor Guan Xuefei encouraged the graduates to bravely shoulder responsibilities, work hard, and fulfill their passion as they embark on their journey across mountains and seas.
