Graduate School Holds Management Digital Transformation Work Meeting

On April 26, 2024, the Graduate School held a Management Digital Transformation Work Meeting at the Software Park North District. The meeting was attended by Songtao He, Deputy Director of the Office of CAEP, Hang Lin, Deputy Director of the Management Transformation Office, Qianhao Zhou from the Office of the Academy, leaders of the Graduate School, and all management personnel from the Beijing area. The meeting was chaired by Libin Fu, Deputy Director (Acting in Charge of Administrative Affairs) of the Graduate School.

At the meeting, Hang Lin, Deputy Director of the Management Transformation Office, delivered a report titled "Value-Driven Management Digital Transformation." He addressed four key aspects: "Why Transform," "Who Transforms," "How to Transform," and "Thoughts and Practices." Starting with the current management status of CAEP, he detailed the overall goals of the management transformation, the operational mechanisms of the transformation work, the transformation methods based on the digital PDCA cycle, and the current status of the digital transformation efforts. He illustrated the practices and experiences in the process with an example of human resource management transformation within the academy. After the report, participants engaged in a lively discussion with the speaker.

Finally, Songtao He, Deputy Director of the Academy Office, summarized the meeting. He encouraged the Graduate School to drive its efforts with value, identify key management elements, construct management models, define management interfaces, design digital dashboards, and actively explore the pathways and methods for the digital transformation of graduate management. He emphasized the goal of achieving both self-development and better service to the CAEP’s broader mission.
